Vancouver has an amazing hanging bridge, which is considered the most visited attraction in the city, because about one million tourists come here every year. It hangs directly over the Capilano River at a height of seventy meters, so few travelers dare to walk on it. Despite the fact that it is hanging, the bridge is quite strong, reliable and durable. Its creators claim that it can withstand the weight of 96 elephants if they were on it at the same time.
The bridge and the river were named after the leader of a small Indian tribe. At the entrance, there are two totem poles and several images of animals that were considered sacred. However, this does not reduce the number of tourists, because every day thousands of tourists come to see it.
In 2004, the owner of the park built a unique attraction here, which is represented by seven small pedestrian bridges that connect different banks of the river and are suspended above the trees. They are located at a height of no more than thirty meters. It can be found in the west of the forest park zone.
After the bridge has been reinforced so many times, tourists can be calm about their safety on it, but despite this, some travelers are afraid to walk on it. It is worth noting that during strong winds and when there are more than twenty people on it at the same time, the wooden canvas shakes a lot, which adds even more adrenaline to the blood.
The cost of visiting the park is approximately 30-32 dollars. If these are children under 12, then you will only be charged 12 dollars, but people with disabilities are admitted for free. At the same time, there is a great discount on a family ticket, it costs only 65 dollars, but two adults and two children can visit the park.
