Now it's possible. An Airbnb listing has appeared offering the original apartment where the legendary trilogy was filmed. The nightly rate is just $50, but there are a few additional conditions.
The mansion can accommodate up to five people and must be booked for the entire month of August. Starting July 27, anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the popular film will have the opportunity to rent the house.
Incidentally, it's located on Long Island, in the northern United States, and has five bedrooms and six bathrooms. It also features a basement bar, a gym, game rooms, a billiards room, and an office. The cottage was built in the 1930s. In 2012, it was sold at auction for $1,7 million, then restored and put back on the market for $2,3 million.
The opening scenes of the first Godfather film, where the protagonist greets guests at his daughter's wedding, were filmed in the house. The scene depicting his death was also filmed here.
