This coming Sunday, the South Korean capital will sparkle with bright colors, and we are not talking about the night city or light illuminations.
Thousands of Seoul residents and visitors will be able to watch the grandiose Fireworks Festival on April 2. The event is dedicated to the Lotte World Tower skyscraper, which will open in just a few days. The huge building will house the largest mall in the capital of South Korea. However, it is still unknown whether the next Korean tower will be as popular as the upcoming festival.
Spectators can expect a rich program. The organizers are in no hurry to reveal their cards, periodically giving out intriguing details. For example, in terms of spectacle, the upcoming festival should not only compare with the famous Dubai fireworks after the chimes, but even surpass them. The celebration with aerial performances will take place in Sonphanaru Park.
In general, fireworks are only part of the evening program next Sunday. The entertainment part of the complex event will begin with a concert, which will last until 19:30 - this is the time of the festival, called "Miracle of Korea". After the fireworks, viewers will be treated to quizzes and competitions.
According to representatives of the country's National Tourism Organization, you can share the holiday not only while visiting Songphanaru Park, but also while staying in the Olympic Park, the city's Hangang Park, and even during boat trips on a boat sailing along the local river.
The last festival took place in October. Then, a number of teams representing Korea, Spain and Japan delighted tens of thousands of spectators with an impressive program. Actually, the festival is usually held in mid-autumn, but in this case, an exception was made.
