The opening will take place in the spring of 2020. This restaurant will be the second in the Kering company, which also includes the famous Italian brand Gucci.
It is noted that the very first restaurant of the fashion retailer opened in Florence in 2018 and was called Gucci Osteria. Gucci Osteria is a territory that includes a brand store, an exhibition center and a restaurant, which received its first Michelin star in November 2019. The idea to open a restaurant is connected with the desire of the fashion house to expand its services and move to new markets. The fashion brand seeks to expand its empire beyond fashion as much as possible and cover other areas of luxury life, following similar initiatives of other conglomerates. In addition, according to WWD, LVMH plans to be in no way inferior to Kering, and in the near future open a restaurant from the fashion house Dior on the same street for luxury shopping in Los Angeles.
It also became known that Gucci will hold a cruise show in San Francisco. The Italian fashion house Gucci will present its 2021 cruise collection in the United States. The show will be held on May 18 in San Francisco.
