Che Guevara

It is known that this tiny room – only about 5 sq. m., no windows or sanitary facilities – Che Guevara lived for about 9 months. Today the walls of the room are painted with colorful portraits revolutionary, and not without his favorite slogan - "Hasta la victoria siempre!", which loosely translates as "Until the victorious end!"

The owners of the boarding house claim that the old, sagging bed with a striped mattress, which takes up a good half of the tiny room, is the very one on which the most charismatic leader of the Cuban revolution slept.

Let us add that Che Guevara's room in the Guatemalan boarding house Mesa is the cheapest - a night spent on Che Guevara's bed will cost a tourist only 9 dollars.
