Dubai Shopping Festival 2020, the 25th edition, will kick off on December 26 with a massive twelve-hour sale offering discounts of up to 90%. Over 700 renowned fashion brands across 3200 stores will participate in the sales. The winter shopping festival will treat shoppers to dazzling shows, dazzling fireworks displays, fashion shows, and raffles with numerous prizes. Mega sales will be held every week. Some stores will be open 24 hours a day, serving customers nonstop.
Previous shopping festivals have replenished the Emirates' coffers by hundreds of billions of dirhams and lured over 60 million tourists to Dubai. The very first festival was held thanks to the entrepreneurship of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and it's hard to imagine that Dubai only had one shopping mall back then.
