Ukrainian border guard opens fire to kill on Russian tourists, one injured

A Ukrainian serviceman, who was on duty at the Krasnaya Talovka checkpoint, opened fire to kill on two Russian tourists who decided to take a selfie against the backdrop of the checkpoint building between Russia and Ukraine. One of the Russians received a gunshot wound to the chest, reports Nikolai Sinitsyn, a representative of the FSB Border Department for the Rostov Region.

Selfie lovers will not pass!

As tourists who arrived after said incident to the Russian checkpoint "Voloshino", they were relaxing on the farm Novorusskiy (territory of the Russian Federation). After relaxing on one of the artificial reservoirs, they decided to take a memorable selfie against the backdrop of the Ukrainian checkpoint.

When lovers Selfie approached the checkpoint, a Ukrainian soldier called out to them, “Stop!” after which opened fire from firearms. It should be noted that these were not warning shots in the air, but fire to kill, since one of the tourists was wounded in the chest.

The Russians managed to run to a safe distance and catch a passing car, which took them to the nearest hospital. There is no information yet about the severity of the Russian's injury.
