The Ukrainian market is showing active interest in vacations in the North African country. It is noteworthy that demand is observed not only in the capital's travel agencies.
According to experts from Oasis Travel Ukraine, Tunisia is also making efforts to attract tourists. In particular, last month the Ukrainian travel agency already organized several road shows, and in a few weeks it is planning to carry out a number of advertising trips, which will be accompanied by excursions. In this way, the Tunisian side is trying to "lure" the Ukrainian tourist, offering demo versions of tours.
At the same time, experts are concerned that doubts of domestic travelers in the context of the country's security may significantly spoil the number of bookings on the Ukrainian market. Tunisia is taking all necessary measures, including expanding the staff of law enforcement agencies, organizing an environmental police and making serious financial investments in ensuring the security of resorts on the part of the state.
Another important nuance that should contribute to the influx of Ukrainian tourists is the visa-free regime from the end of April to the beginning of autumn. The country also takes care of the various preferences of tourists, so here you can easily settle with animals and such places are not uncommon, unlike Turkey and Egypt. In addition, the prices are quite reasonable compared to competitors, so Tunisia will create serious competition Turkey, which is likely to become a leading destination for domestic travelers. But for good sales, Tunisia will probably need a more active position of advertising agents and tour operators.
