Britain is to have a £3,5bn theme park that will rival Disneyland Paris in scale and design.
The giant theme park is said to feature 50 rides and attractions, as well as 2 cinemas, shops and restaurants, including a nightclub, which will be launched in Dartford, Kent.
Developers have said the Disneyland plan will be submitted by the end of the year for 110 acres of land on the former Svan Peninsula landfill. London Resort Company Holdings (LRCH), the project's lead developers, are working with local authorities to move the plan through public consultation as quickly as possible.
Humphrey Percy, CEO of LRCH, added that they aim to create a unique entertainment destination offering a scale and quality unmatched in the UK. Beloved characters and stories will be brought to life from iconic films, television, books, electronic games and toys. The park will create 33 jobs in North Kent and attract 000 visitors a day. It was said that the park would open by 40. Following government approval, work would begin from 000. Visitors can access the rides for £2022 a day.
