The grandiose cave in Vietnam, Han Son Doong (Son Doong - "Mountain River Cave"), has become available for visiting by tourist groups accompanied by professional speleologist guides. According to Vietnamese media, more than 400 tickets for foreign tourists have already been sold.

The largest cave in the world Han Son Doong

Let us recall that Han Son Doong was discovered in the Ke Bang National Park by a group of researchers from the BCRA (British Cave Research Association) only in 2009 and was immediately recognized as the largest underground cave known to mankind. According to the most conservative estimates of researchers, the internal volume of Han Son Doong is at least five times larger than that of the Phong Nha cave, which was considered the largest in Vietnam until 2009.

The largest of the halls in Han Son Doong Cave is 200 meters high and 150 meters wide, with a length of about five kilometers. Inside this hall there is enough space to hypothetically accommodate several skyscrapers 40-50 floors.

The tourist route inside the Han Son Doong cave is designed for 6 days, during which travelers will conduct a fascinating study of the largest karst formation on the planet.
