A Russian tourist got lost while climbing Mount Aragats in Armenia, the driver of the car rented by the Russian reported after the tourist failed to return at the appointed time.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia, a Russian citizen named Sergey arrived in the area of Lake Kari, which is the starting point ascent route to Aragats, in a rented minibus. The Russian told the driver that he would be back in about three hours, but the man never showed up at the appointed time or much later.
The minibus driver reported the disappearance of the Russian to rescuers. The latter managed to establish the identity of the tourist and his phone number. They managed to contact the man and establish his approximate location. As it turned out, he got lost in the area of Lake Kari, but he is not injured and feels well.
