According to a study by the Internet service “hotels-scanner”, published in a press release distributed in the media, Russian tourists were fifth in terms of average spending on accommodation in foreign hotels in the period June 2014 – June 2015.
According to hotels-scanner.com, Russians on average they spend on the trip for hotel accommodation abroad $318.2, which is the fifth highest rate among the 30 countries surveyed.
The most wasteful were tourists from Kuwait, who spent an average of $547.8 on a hotel stay. In second place were travelers from the UAE with an average of $521. Indians and Brazilians took third and fourth place in the ranking with spending of $373 and $341, respectively.
The most economical turned out to be travelers from Croatia. The average Croatian spent an average of $143 in a hotel over the past year.
