On Tuesday, July 28, in the very center of Barcelona, Spain, near the Silken Hotel, unknown assailants, hiding their faces behind masks, opened fire on tourists. At least two people were reported injured.
As the Spanish publication Faro De Vigo writes, eyewitnesses said that shooting near the hotel was preceded by an attempt to rob tourists. The details are still unknown, but according to preliminary information, after the masked criminal did not receive the valuables and money demanded from the tourist, he opened fire with a pistol.
One person was reported to have received gunshot wounds, while another was injured by glass flying from a bullet. Both victims were urgently hospitalized, and doctors consider the condition of one of them to be serious.
Criminals in masks, of whom there were two, according to eyewitnesses, fled the scene before the police arrived Barcelona.
