Sydney Harbor Bridge
Australians are among the first in the world to celebrate the New Year, and they always put on some truly magnificent fireworks displays during the New Year celebrations. The Sydney Harbour Bridge was designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon and was completed in 1973 after the project had encountered many financial problems. Once completed, the bridge was quickly recognized as one of Australia's most iconic landmarks.
Bondi Beach
Bondi Beach is probably the most famous beach in Sydney. It attracts tourists for many reasons - beautiful waves, bronzed bodies, great cafes and bars right on the beach. It is one of the most iconic places, and it is not surprising - you can walk along the beach, drink coffee or beer and watch the waves and people passing by. The beach itself usually has quite a strong surf, but you can also swim in the artificial pools.
