Lithuanian tourist stabs Czech hotel security guard in forehead with fork

In one of the hotels in Prague, Czech Republic, a security guard was stabbed in the forehead with a fork by a Lithuanian tourist who decided to get a free breakfast, despite not being a hotel guest.

According to Czech media, a tourist from Lithuania entered the hotel restaurant early in the morning. Around 6:30, he saw tables set through the restaurant windows and decided to have breakfast "for free." The restaurant workers unmistakably recognized the stranger in the man happily devouring the food and called security.

The security guard who arrived politely asked the Lithuanian to leave, but the latter, instead of retreating, grabbed a fork from the table and deftly stuck it between the security guard's eyes. According to eyewitnesses, the inadequate tourist wanted to continue the reprisal and had already raised the fork to stab him in the stomach, but he was not allowed to carry out his plan.

Called by restaurant workers The police took the man to the station. According to Czech law, he could face up to 10 years in prison. The guard was hospitalized. Doctors said the injury did not pose a threat to life or health.
