According to analytical calculations made by OneTwoTrip at the request of RBC, sales of air tickets in Russia for international flights during the New Year holidays have decreased by approximately 30% compared to last year's statistics.
The leader in terms of demand decline was the German destination, which lost 68% compared to last year's figures. Austria and Turkey, having lost 60 and 49 percent respectively.
The Indian direction suffered the least – sales of air tickets to the country's airports among Russians for the New Year holidays decreased by only 10%. As for the increase in sales, experts note several areas, the absolute leader among which was New Year's Georgia, which added 162% compared to last year's figures.
