Everyone knows that Mustafa Ataturk was the president of Turkey and did many wonderful things for the country. His words and smart thoughts are still quoted by modern politicians and the president of the country, despite the fact that more than seventy years have passed since his death. He is called the real "father of the people", who did everything so that the country would prosper and its residents would not be in need. Even now, many TV channels often show documentaries from the time of Ataturk's rule, talk about his achievements in the field of culture and the economy of the country.
In addition, all the big cities have museums of the first president of Turkey, and portraits and images hang everywhere, in stadiums, parks, libraries and even some houses. His statues are erected in almost every resort, and even shops, clubs or beaches can boast of an image of Mustafa Ataturk. Such small portraits are no longer surprising to anyone, because it has become a kind of cult.
But here is a huge autograph with the image of the former president, which can be seen even from space - this is an incredible sight. This amazing portrait is located on the slope of a mountain near the small town of Erzincan. It was made of huge boulders, which are painted only in two colors - black and white. In order to make it, it took more than three thousand people who collected limestone boulders from all around the city, and then painted them in these colors. All the boulders took about a hundred tons of paint.
Note that under the image of M. Ataturk there is his autograph, which seems to have been written by the president himself in black ink. This image is more than one hundred and thirty meters high, but its area is truly amazing. Its area is 7,5 thousand square meters, on which Ataturk's face is depicted. It is worth saying that this portrait is the second largest, which can be seen from a bird's eye view and even from space.
There is a road near the portrait where tourists can drive and see the territory of the portrait, but the whole image is not visible from there. It is best to fly here by helicopter or paraglider, then the whole picture will be visible as if in the palm of your hand. Oddly enough, but the population of the city until the twentieth century consisted of Armenians, whom Ataturk deported to their homeland during the war.
