Residents of Kazakhstan continue to file complaints with the police demanding that the management of the travel agency "Gulnar Tour" pay financial compensation for their ruined vacation in Turkey.
According to the latest information, another 33 residents of Ust-Kamenogorsk have contacted the police and the regional tourism department of VKO (East Kazakhstan region) with complaints about "Gulnar Tour". The total amount of damage suffered by Kazakh tourists from Ust-Kamenogorsk is estimated at about 13 million tenge.
It should be noted that the actual amount of damage exceeds the announced amount several times. However, more than 60% of the affected clients of Gulnar Tour have not yet filed statements with the police, as they do not believe in the possibility of getting their money back for their ruined vacation in Turkey.
Let us recall that several lawsuits against this travel company have already been filed earlier in the Saryarka Court of Astana. As for the travel agency "Gulnar Tour", by a court decision of 22.08.2014 it was deprived of its license for the right to conduct business in the tourism sector. A criminal case has been initiated against the company's management on charges of "Fraud". The head of "Gulnar Tour" Ali Ismailov is currently hiding from law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to unconfirmed information, Ismailov left Kazakhstan using forged documents.
