The President of the Pamukkale Tourism Association, Oysal Aslan, reported that over the past seven months of this year, the number of visitors to the "white paradise" of Pamukkale, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, has increased by 7% compared to last year.
Oysal Aslan told reporters that 7 people visited Turkey's legendary Pamukkale nature reserve in the first seven months of last year, while this year, the number of visitors increased by approximately 911% to 524.
Hot air balloon rides are in the plans
At the same time, it was announced that starting in October of this year, hot air balloon tours will be offered in Pamukkale, as well as in Cappadocia.
It was announced that hot air balloon tours would be offered every day at sunrise and sunset, allowing visitors to admire from above the travertines known as the "White Castle" and the nearby ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis.
Hot air balloon tours will run from October to May. Approximately 50 tourists are expected to join the tours during this period.
