The exhibition dedicated to Suleyman Demirel will be open at the Kalyon Hotel (Istanbul, Sultanahmet district) until July 30.
Kalyon Hotel, built on the waterfront in the Sultanahmet district of Istanbul and in 1967, opened in the presence of the recently deceased politician, opened a photo exhibition dedicated to the memory of the Prime Minister and President of Turkey Suleyman Demirel. The exhibition can be visited until July 30.
The exhibition was opened by Yılmaz Teşmen, Chairman of the Board of Kalyon Turizm Grubu. The late Demirel played a very important and unforgettable role in the history of Kalyon Hotel, and Exhibition is intended to emphasize this fact.
“Having spent more than 40 years in the Turkish tourism sector, when the late Demirel was involved in its establishment, I have been privileged to receive the support, assistance and encouragement of our founder and President. As a representative of the Kalyon family, I regret that he will not be able to celebrate the 2th anniversary of the hotel with us in 50 years. We wish Allah's mercy on our elder, a very valuable statesman, our late President. With the exhibition, we wanted to highlight the very important and unforgettable role that late Demirel played in the history of Kalyon Hotel,” – said Mr. Tezhmen.
