In the second half of August, in the Turkish city of Antalya, located on the Mediterranean coast, an ice sculpture museum opened at the grandiose Antalya Aquarium.

Ice Sculpture Museum

The museum is open in the pavilion Antalya Oceanarium "Snow World". In addition to ice itself, biological material is widely used in ice sculptures created by master Sedran Kalkan - fish, sea crustaceans, and aquatic plants frozen into blocks.

In the museum you can see unique ice pyramids, the Temple of Apollo, the sculpture of Bellerophon, ice copies of ancient tombs and much more.

It should be noted that on the tourist portal Tripadvisor one of the visitors to the ice sculpture museum in Antalya left a review in which he reported that the Snow World pavilion had an unpleasant smell due to the fish and crabs frozen into the sculptures. The user reported that he allegedly could not stay in the museum for more than five minutes because of the smell. However, no other complaints about the museum in Antalya were noted.
