Turkish citizen Mustafa Kemal S., a representative of a respected Diyarbakir law firm, shot his neighbor in a villa in Konyaalti the day before – Russian tourist Lyudmila Drozdova, who is also a lawyer. The man shot the Russian woman four times with a pistol in front of the victim’s husband, after which he disappeared.
Both participants in the incident – a Russian and a Turkish lawyer – were neighbors in a complex of summer villas located in Konyaalti. According to eyewitnesses to the tragedy, a quarrel broke out between representatives of different law firms. After a verbal altercation, Lyudmila Drozdova intended to leave the complex with her husband Levent A., but Mustafa Kemal S. blocked the couple’s path, pulled out a gun and opened fire by woman.
The 34-year-old Russian citizen is in serious condition, the bullets hit her in the chest area. Lyudmila was taken to the hospital at the Mediterranean University. Doctors fear for the woman's life.
Mustafa Kemal S., taking advantage of the confusion of the complex's security guards, fled the scene of the crime. The police are currently investigating the case. It was found out that the Turk who shot the woman had been vacationing in the complex for eight years. Two weeks ago, he had already fired a pistol in a public place, but was released from custody in accordance with the "conditional release" law.
