Despite the statements of the head of the Committee of the Tourism Industry of Kazakhstan Marat Igaliyev that all tourists who, due to the fault of the Gulnar Tour company, ended up in Turkey without the possibility of returning home will be taken back to their homeland by July 12, it became known that at least 6 more people remain in Antalya.
Marat Igaliyev noted that the number of Kazakh tourists evacuated from Turkey by regular and specially organized flights coincides with the data provided by the tour operator Gulnar Tour. However, after the "rescue operation" (there is no other way to call it), the specially organized "hotline" received six calls from Kazakh citizens who had arrived in Turkey on Gulnar Tour packages and were now asking for assistance in returning home.
Mr. Igaliyev expressed his bewilderment at the discrepancy between the actual number of tourists sent to Turkey by Gulnar Tour and their number "on paper". The head of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan promised to promptly look into this issue and return his compatriots home as quickly as possible.
