This week, the head of the advertising department at the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, İrfan Önal, told reporters about plans to step up work in the tourism markets of the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa).
As Irfan Onal stated, the launch of an advertising campaign to attract tourists from BRICS countries is planned for the end of August, for which numerous foreign tours of marketing specialists will be organized.
A meeting is also planned with representatives of Turkey's largest airlines and tour operators to analyze trends in visits by tourists from BRICS countries and jointly plan the 2015 season.
Mr. Onal noted that it is extremely important to know today what number of tourists from BRICS can be expected next year in order to maintain the growth of the Turkish tourism industry at the required level.
