A local resident, Ramazan A., was detained in the Turkish resort of Alanya for attacking Russian tourist Anna Khodyreva. Ramazan A. stabbed Anna six times while she was walking around the Alanya Fortress. According to the accused, the attack was caused by the girl's unwillingness to give way to him.

The bloody incident, in which 28-year-old Russian tourist Anna Khodyreva was seriously injured, occurred on June 2 at 16:00 in the Tophane quarter on the slope of the fortress hill. An unknown local resident stabbed the victim 6 times with a knife and then fled. Witnesses to the incident immediately called the police and an ambulance. After first aid, the injured tourist was taken to the hospital, and police officers immediately began questioning witnesses.

The criminal turned out to be a well-known repeat offender

First of all, the police studied the recordings of the surveillance cameras in the area of ​​the incident and the neighboring blocks. The attacker turned out to be 28-year-old Ramazan A., who had previously been detained several times on charges of theft, threats, and causing damage to property. The criminal, who was casually strolling along the city pier, was detained the following evening. During interrogation at the station, the accused admitted that he attacked the girl after she refused to give way to him on the promenade and at the same time uttered several words in a foreign language that he found offensive.

After the interrogation procedure, Ramazan A.'s case was transferred to court, but at the request of the lawyer, the accused still has to undergo a psychiatric examination at the municipal hospital of Alanya. The Russian tourist Anna Khodyreva, who suffered at the hands of the maniac, is still in serious condition.
