Property sales, the loss of several investors, personnel changes and senior management resignations continue in the Rixos chain – the company’s head office will soon move permanently to Dubai. Meanwhile, the Rixos Group representative office in Antalya is gradually laying off its employees.
With the upcoming move, Fettah Tamince's company is going through some tough times - the elite hotel chain Rixos has been hit by a wave of personnel changes, resignations and hiring of new managers. At the same time, the company has begun mass layoffs of its rank-and-file employees.
Although the Rixos Tekirova Premium hotel was taken over by Husnu Özyeğin in a timely and profitable manner, some of Rixos' investments were still damaged. In particular, the Istanbul Elysium hotel, which had been under Rixos' management for a long time, was the owner of the hotel, the construction company Ofton İnşaat, which decided to interrupt cooperation with a well-known hotel chain, which also ended with the dismissal of senior management.
Rixos Vice President Volkan Şimşek also left his post at the end of August this year, and even earlier, Fettah Tamince and Cem Kınay, one of the members of the Board of Directors, parted ways.
As part of the management change, Bugra Berberoglu, son of the founder of the Mediterranean Hotel Owners and Tourism Association (AKTOB) Ali Berberoglu.
