Turkish traveler conquers Kilimanjaro summit

Turkish citizen, 19-year-old Asli Alkis has completed a 6-day climb to the highest peak of the African continent, Kilimanjaro. Asli became the first Turkish citizen to climb to the top of this mountain.

Let us recall that Kilimanjaro is located in Tanzania. It is a mountain of volcanic origin, rising 5 meters above sea level. Kilimanjaro is also considered the highest solitary peak on the planet that is not part of a mountain system or range (the Himalayas, Cordilleras, etc.)
