According to the report of the CTI of Ukraine (Tourist Information Center), as of July 1, 2014, Turkey took the leading position among popular tourist destinations for Ukrainian citizens. This information was obtained by analyzing the statistics of tour sales for the first 6 months of the current year by the largest tourist network "TUI Ukraine", which unites about 170 travel agencies throughout the country.
According to the CTI, more than 200 thousand Ukrainians have visited Turkey since the beginning of the year, which is the best indicator among all foreign countries, although it is significantly inferior to the statistics for the same period last year (for obvious reasons).
As for the minimum prices for a week's holiday in a three-star hotel at one of the popular resorts on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, the cost of a standard tour package starts at $485 per person (including flights). However, statistics show that Ukrainians often choose a higher level of holiday - these are tours with accommodation in a 4-5 star hotel on an all-inclusive basis. Prices for such tour packages start at $600 per person.
