A tour bus carrying tourists after a tour of the outskirts of Antalya was involved in an accident on Sunday, October 12, at around 23:30 local time, as a result of which three of the four Dutch tourists on board received injuries of varying severity.
According to information published in the Turkish media, the accident occurred 300 meters from the intersection of the Antalya-Manavgat highway (D-400) with a secondary road leading to the village of Gundogdu.
The cause of the bus accident in Turkey was a dog that suddenly ran out onto the road. The driver, noticing the animal on the road, braked sharply, as a result of which the bus broke through the highway barrier and received serious damage to the rear right part of the body.
The injured tourists from the Netherlands were taken to the nearest hospital. According to the latest information, their injuries do not pose a threat to their lives or health.
