The unprecedented advertising campaign of the Turkish low-cost airline Pegasus, called "The best gift in the world", continues. In the nomination "Give your name to the plane", the winner was Yasmin I., whose name was given to the Boeing 737-800 series of Pegasus.
The latest Pegasus advertising campaign was launched after the purchase of 40 new Boeing 737-800 aircraft worth $3,2 billion. As a result of one of the drawings, aircraft number 39 was named Jasmin Y. Together with the winner, over 18 young passengers took part in the “Best Gift in the World” campaign Pegasus Airlines, whose average age was 5,5 years.

Didem Cengiz Gürsel, Marketing, Communications and Sponsorship Director of the airline, commented on the main points of the “Best Gift in the World” advertising campaign to the press Pegasus:
"In line with the Pegasus airline's policy and principles, we continue to gradually renew and expand our fleet. To celebrate the acquisition of new aircraft, in 2011 we began a tradition of naming aircraft after women in honor of our youngest passengers. The tradition has received great support from our customers and this year we decided to hold a special lottery, the winner of which will have the opportunity to name a new aircraft after himself. As a result, our fleet has been expanded with a Boeing, on board of which the name of our little winner Jasmin Y is emblazoned."
In conclusion, Didem Gürsel reminded that the surprises and draws within the framework of the “Best Gift in the World” campaign are not over yet:
"This year, our little passengers will have another surprise - a children's drawing competition. The most interesting, colorful and unusual drawing on the theme "My Dream Trip" will be painted on board one of our planes. The winner of this project will be determined in March."
