About three hundred Russian tourists cannot fly to Turkey from Israel's main airport, Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion, because due to the high probability of a repeat attack, most airlines have postponed their flight schedules by several days.
Let us recall that on July 22, a rocket launched from the Gaza Strip hit a civilian building in the village of Yehud, which is adjacent to the runways of the Tel Aviv airport. At the time of the attack, two Russian planes belonging to the airlines Transaero and Aeroflot, which were supposed to transport tourists from Israel (they made a mini-tour of the Holy Land) to a vacation spot in Turkey, were forced to turn around over the sea and take a return course to Moscow.
According to preliminary data, flights have been rescheduled for July 25. However, this does not make things any easier for Russian tourists, since about a hundred travelers out of three hundred still remain in the Ben Gurion transit zone, having refused the “kindly” offered accommodation in hotels in Palestine by the Israeli side.
