One of the world's largest publishers specializing in travel guides, Lonely Planet, has compiled its own rating of the five hundred most significant attractions on the planet that every traveler should visit.
The legendary city also made it into Lonely Planet's authoritative annual "Ultimate Travelist" rating Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, taking a more than respectable 10th place in the list of the top 500 attractions.
