Recently, a well-known travel agency informed our journalists of an increasing number of fake PCR tests that travelers and tourists are attempting to present upon boarding. Tour operators warn that if even one passenger is found to have a fake test certificate, all tourists risk being denied boarding their flights to a Turkish resort.
As tour operators explain, in such a case, all passengers on the plane may be subject to a second rapid test, for which they will be forced to pay themselves. This could result in a flight delay or even a rescheduling, which could negatively impact both the mood and well-being of travelers.
This is why all tourists are advised to take PCR tests only in reputable laboratories and clinics whose certificates are recognized and considered acceptable in Turkey, their host country. Furthermore, it's important to remember that the test is valid for only 72 hours from the moment you are confirmed negative for COVID-19.
