In western Turkey, in the culinary capital of Afyonkarahisar, an unusual tourist attraction is rapidly gaining popularity: the country's first and only Sausage Museum. According to Daily Sabah, it has already attracted over 30 visitors in a year. And that number is constantly growing.A sausage museum in Turkey has attracted tourists from around the world. The 1060-square-meter museum immerses visitors in the atmosphere of butchery in centuries past. Exhibits include honing machines, antique meat grinders, sausage stuffers, and a rare 1943 truck once used to deliver produce to the surrounding areas.

Children are particularly interested in the bull and cow figurines, while adults are impressed by the restored interiors of the old shop. All the tools on display were actually used in the factory, which, according to museum staff, has been in operation since 1920—almost as long as the Turkish Republic has existed.
