At a briefing held on Wednesday, Mustafa Dzhemilev told journalists that he personally inquired with the Turkish authorities about their intentions to resume the Istanbul-Simferopol flight and about the passenger liner Adriana, for which tickets for the Sevastopol-Istanbul flight are allegedly already being sold.

As Dzhemilev stated, the Turkish authorities assured him that they do not intend to violate the official ban of the Ukrainian government on crossing the sea and air border of the annexed Crimea. The leader of the Crimean Tatars emphasized that the Turkish prosecutor's office intends to begin an investigation in the very near future regarding the provocative reports about the planned resumption of the Istanbul-Sevastopol sea passenger route.
