The employees of the travel agency that rented the halal hotel Bensu Elfida in Beldibi (Kemer) disappeared along with all the money of the clients. The owner of the hotel had to deal with numerous creditors and deceived clients.
The hotel owner, Mustafa Mecit, leased the land to the travel agency Nezikler Turizm, which intended to use it as a special hotel for Muslims. A large bank loan was taken out for the project and even the tours were sold, after which the travel agency employees disappeared with all the money.
Having fallen into debt not only to the bank but also to numerous clients who had booked their trips on an early booking basis, the owner of Nezikler Turizm disappeared a month ago. According to information provided by the Turkish newspaper Zaman, bailiffs who arrived at the hotel found completely empty rooms without beds or air conditioners.
The hotel owner, who suffered at the hands of scammers along with everyone else, has to personally deal with the deceived clients, the vast majority of whom arrive from abroad and find themselves at the closed doors of the hotel with suitcases in their hands. At the moment, many of them have filed complaints with the prosecutor's office.
As it turned out later, the director of Nezikler Turizm, Yusuf Feramuz Ortel, immediately after the above-described events managed to re-register the travel agency to a stranger.
