Numerous events will be held in the Kas district of Turkey's Antalya province from April 15 to 22 to mark the tourism week.
From the very beginning of the celebrations (on Tuesday), celebrations will be organized in Kas in the districts of the municipality. As part of the program, folk dances will be performed by professional groups in the Republic Square, art and craft exhibitions will begin, a theatrical performance will be organized, and musical concerts will be held in the evening.
The program of the tourism week will include a performance by the Lycian Theater "Community" on Wednesday, April 16, at the ancient theater "Yesilkoy Kaş". On Thursday, April 17, a meeting of representatives of the tourism industry will be held. On April 19, trips to Patara will be organized for a spectacular water show. On Sunday, April 20, you can take a mini-tourism trip from Mahallesi to the ancient city of Phellos.
Kaş Governor Selami Kapanca noted that the district is one of the most important alternative tourism centers in Turkey: “As part of the tourism week celebrations, events will be held in an alternative spirit to traditional tourism activities. In our area, we combine art, ancient crafts and modern tourism business. During this week, we will try to contribute to the promotion of Kaş,” Kapanca said.
