Mount Tahtali, also known as Olympos, is one of the most impressive sites in southern Turkey. Rising to 2365 meters, it is the highest peak in the Taurus Mountains. The mountain is located within the Olympos-Beydağları National Park, just 15 kilometers from the resort. Kemer and 50 kilometers from Antalya.
Today, you can reach the summit not only on foot but also in comfort, thanks to the cable car, which was built back in 2007. This unique engineering feat is the longest passenger cable car in Europe and the second longest in the world, with a length of 4350 meters and a vertical drop of 1639 meters. It's no wonder its motto is "From the Sea to the Sky."
The lowest point is at an altitude of 726 meters, between the towns of Tekirova and Çamyuva, and the highest point is on the sunny terrace of Tahtali Peak, offering a panoramic view of the entire beauty of the mountains. From here, you can see the Mediterranean coast and the cities from Finike to Side.
Gondolas, which can accommodate up to 80 people, depart every half hour, and the entire ascent takes just 10 minutes. During this time, breathtaking views unfold before your eyes: pine forests, mountain cliffs, caves, and the breathtaking sea.
