For the first time in Turkey, one of the stages of the Ironman race, one of the most popular and spectacular sports competitions in the world, will be held at the Gloria Sport Arena complex. Ironman mixed races are a test of strength and new rounds of excitement and struggle at each stage.
The competition will take place on October 25th along the Antalya-Belek route, with the support of Gloria Hotels & Resorts as part of the Özaltın holding. Preparations and registration of participants are in full swing.
The Gloria Ironman 70.3 Turkey will start with a 1,9 km swim along the beautiful beaches of Belek, followed by a 90 km bike ride through historical sites, the canyons of Antalya and near the Aspendos amphitheater.
For cycling race a 21 km marathon stage will follow, its route is about golf club Gloria, and the final point of the entire competition will be the Gloria Sport Arena complex.
Gloria Ironman 2015 Turkey will be the final event in the 70.3 sports calendar. Representatives from over 50 countries have expressed their desire to participate in the race. Around 5 participants and spectators are expected to come to the region.
