On Monday, June 30, the 16st annual Istanbul Jazz Festival kicked off and will run until July 2014. This spectacular event, which traditionally attracts many Turkish citizens and tourists from abroad, includes a total of 28 concerts in 13, which will be held at XNUMX of Istanbul's best venues.
The Jazz Festival is traditionally held under the auspices of the Istanbul Culture and Arts Foundation. The opening of the 2014 festival took place in the magnificent garden of the Austrian Consulate General, and the great honor of launching the 15-day jazz event was given to the Turkish ensemble "FOURinthePOCKET", which features five of Turkey's best young jazz musicians, according to music critics.
