The scandal with smoke on board a Jet Airlines plane carrying Kazakh tourists flying to Antalya, Turkey from the tour operator Gulnar Tour had barely died down when sad news came again from the Turkish shores.
Having completed their initially spoiled vacation in Turkey, tourists from Kostanay were supposed to fly out of Antalya on June 29. But it was not to be! As has become a usual occurrence, the flight was postponed several times, and still has not taken off…
The Kazakhs were temporarily accommodated in hotels, frankly speaking, not of the highest class, and were reassured that the flight was about to take place, and the delay was caused (!) by a change in the air carrier.
As it turned out, on the 29th, the Jet Airlines plane was unable to take off from Antalya International Airport due to technical reasons, and on June 30, the last day of the permit for the operation of this aircraft expired. For obvious reasons, the Turkish side refuses to give the go-ahead for the departure of the plane with an expired permit.
Now the management of the tour operator "Gulnar Tour" is frantically looking for another plane to take 303 Kazakhstani tourists out of Turkey.
By the way, Zhuldyz Kumarova, who holds the position of top manager of the Kostanay branch of Gulnar Tour, has already managed to please clients by stating that they will not receive any financial compensation for the flight delay. Ms. Kumarova did not answer journalists' questions regarding such a bold position of the tour operator, citing the order of the company's head office.
