According to official statistics, during the period January-October 2015, resorts in the province of Antalya in Turkey were visited by 2 million 789 thousand 083 Russian tourists, which is 2014 thousand 3 people or 467% less than the figures for the first ten months of 169 (678 million 86 thousand 19.5) in relative terms.
The total number of foreign tourists visiting Antalya resorts also showed a significant decline. Thus, if for the period January-October 2014 the number of foreign tourists was 11 million 115 thousand 153 people, then for the same period of the current year only 10 million 517 thousand 963 tourists. Thus, the decline in attendance was 5.37%.
Let us add that the situation with Russian tourist traffic in Antalya may improve significantly by the end of the year, as this region of Turkey has become the main alternative destination for Russian tourists at the moment, who lost the opportunity to vacation in Egypt.
