TAV Airports Holding has won the tender to operate the domestic flight terminal at Bodrum Airport until the end of 2035.
The domestic terminal at Milas-Bodrum Airport, known to most passengers as Bodrum Airport, was transferred to the management of TAV Airports Holding following a tender. The contract is worth €717 million and expires in 2035.
TAV Airports CEO Sani Şener shared his plans for the future. According to Mr. Şener, Milas-Bodrum Airport handles over 3,5 million passengers annually and is one of the main hubs connecting Turkey with the world. Currently, TAV Airports serves 14 airports in seven countries. Şener expressed confidence that his years of experience will help the holding company easily increase domestic passenger traffic to 7-10 million passengers per year.
