The resort town of Adana, the pearl of Turkey's southern Mediterranean coast, once again became the venue for the 27th Golden Ball Film Festival.
Following established tradition, this world-renowned film event, the Golden Ball, will be held in 2020 at the Adana Metropolitan Municipality Theatre, strictly adhering to all anti-coronavirus measures. Of particular note is the fact that all festival films will be screened free of charge. Anyone can watch them online and evaluate the scripts and acting skills.
As has been announced, this year's National Feature Film nomination received submissions from ten filmmakers. The films selected for the festival will be evaluated based on numerous criteria by a special jury. The jury is chaired by the legendary Füsun Demirel, and honorary jury members include Feza Çaldıran, Damla Sönmez, Çeren ÜÇE, Can Atilla, Ayfer Tunç, and Sevin Okayay.
