Royal family member Kate Middleton is constantly turning heads with her elegant looks. This week, fans of the beauty were delighted by her unconventional choice of a frame bag from the most fashionable Turkish designer.
The Duchess of Cambridge chose a box bag from Turkish label Manu Atelier, which she wore with a tartan Alexander McQueen coat during a visit to Dundee, Scotland.
By choosing the Instagram-friendly label, Middleton was able to create a classic and cool look that is sure to get the social media thumbs up. Unsurprisingly, the bag sold out within hours of her outing with the Duchess.
Manu Atelier was founded by Turkish sisters Beste and Merve Manastir in 2014 and has since become a street style staple. The sisters and creative team behind Manu Atelier know all about the craftsmanship that goes into creating an iconic bag brand. “Our father is one of the oldest artisans in Turkey and he used to handcraft leather goods in his atelier in the Stambul “since the age of 11,” explain Merve and Beste. As they grew older, the girls decided to create their own brand of bags to fill a gap in the market for exclusive accessories at more inclusive prices.
