The main attraction of Kemer is the ancient city of Phaselis
For those who love to stroll through old ruins, enjoy beautiful landscapes and imagine what the city looked like in the 6th century BC, Phaselis is worth a visit!
Its inhabitants abandoned it in the 13th century, when it lost its importance and lost in the competition between the ports of Antalya and Alanya. Among the famous places we will highlight the following:
- Aqueduct. At one time, water from an underground reservoir passed through this aqueduct. Its mystery is that no one knows how it was built. Even historians cannot answer this question.
- Amphitheater. Built on a hill, from which one can observe a magnificent and breathtaking view of the city, pine forest and sea. At one time it could accommodate almost 2 spectators.
- Temple of Athena. Athena is the goddess of war and wisdom, patroness of Phaselis. According to legend, Achilles' spear was kept in this temple.
- Baths and ports. Phaselis was considered the largest port city, which included 3 ports: northern, middle and southern. The northern port was used for military purposes, this is confirmed by the remains of a watchtower of impressive size. And of course, no port is complete without baths. In the ruins of the steam rooms you can see the furnaces, boilers and ancient mosaics on the floor.

Fire Mountain Yanartash

Dinopark or Dinosaur Park
If you love prehistoric animals and have long dreamed of seeing them, then Dinopark is exactly what you need! This entertainment complex is the largest in Europe, 30 m000. It will certainly appeal to both children and adults. In it you can see about 2 dozen animated dinosaur figures, which are made in life-size. In addition, the animals react to the movements of visitors and various noises by moving their paws, growling, opening their mouths and other sounds.
