A building at 60th Anniversary of the USSR Street caught fire, the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations' press center told FederalPress.
"On Sunday afternoon in the city of Fryazino, a fire broke out in the basement of a shopping center," a press center employee reported. All visitors and employees of the shopping center were evacuated, Interfax reported, citing the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Moscow Region. Firefighters arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire. Fifteen firefighters and five pieces of equipment are battling the blaze.
