The Odessa police continue to investigate the riots that took place almost a year ago near the Regional State Administration, on February 19. One of the travel agencies that was involved in their transportation and delivery both to and from Odessa was checked.

This was reported by Odessa police spokesperson Alla Marchenko at a briefing at the Odessa Crisis Media Center, as reported by Kommentarii.

"Cases have already been opened on the grounds of criminal offenses provided for by: Part 1 of Article 171 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Obstruction of the activities of journalists", Part 4 of Article 296 - "Hooliganism" and Part 2 of Article 364 - "Abuse of power", - said Alla Marchenko. Pre-trial investigations are currently underway on the facts of beatings of citizens.

It is also noted that the video shows the identities of those who were in the square in front of the regional state administration. "Their location is being established," she said.

“In just a couple of days since the video was published, three of those involved in the beatings have been identified and their personal data has been found.”

"It should be noted that the investigation has done quite a lot of work." In addition, an ATM was installed where they could receive their "salaries," Marchenko said.

Let us recall that one of the participants in the events of February 19 has already been notified of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 171 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine; the indictment is in the Primorsky Court.
