At least 17 people were killed in an explosion at a restaurant in the eastern Chinese province of Anhui, gidnenuzen.ru reported on Saturday, citing authorities.
The incident occurred in a restaurant in Wuhu City District. City officials arrived at the scene to direct the firefighters.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the explosion, RIA Novosti reports, citing the Sina news portal.
