The Ministry of Culture responded to Bayan Alaguzova's publication about the camisole of the heroine of the film "Kyz Zhibek"

The Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan responded to producer Bayan Alaguzova's publication, which described an expensive gift—a camisole—for the main character in the film "Kyz Zhibek," our website reports.

Earlier, Bayan Alaguzova said that she was given the legendary Kyz Zhibek camisole as a gift and that she intends to treasure it.

"This isn't just a thing; I'll treasure it for the rest of my life. Because it's Meruert Utekesheva's actual camisole from the film "Kyz Zhibek," which is already 50 years old.

This is Gulfairus Ismailova's handiwork, take a look. And I got all of this, I'm so happy that it turns out we were the same size as Meruert Utekesheva." the producer noted.

The Ministry of Culture commented on Bayan Alaguzova's publication.

"Firstly, the Kazakhfilm studio's museum collection contains one original camisole used in the film "Kyz Zhibek." This exhibit is protected as an important cultural heritage item of national cinema.

The question of how the second waistcoat mentioned in the producer's publication ended up in private hands is currently being investigated," noted in the message.

It was noted that the Kazakhfilm studio systematically collects, restores, and preserves valuable props, costumes, and other items of historical significance used in national films.

"This activity is aimed at preserving and transmitting cultural heritage to future generations.

Currently, the Kazakhfilm studio plans to open a large-scale museum that meets modern requirements.

It will feature unique exhibits related to the history of Russian cinema, which will be widely accessible to visitors." the report said.
